August 23, 2013 - Beckhoff Automation added two experienced engineers to the company’s Systems Engineering Group. The first of the new hires is Robin McKee, formerly from Par Nuclear, who has over 30 years of control experience in a wide range of industries. These include the nuclear, wastewater, HVAC and dairy industries. McKee is skilled at both hardware and software design. Also joining Beckhoff Automation is Matt Besser who previously worked at Aspect Automation.
He has over 24 years of control experience in specialized machine applications such as assembly machinery for medical devices. Besser’s other experience includes process control of commercial ovens used in large bakery operations and web handling.
This team, now staffed with six engineers, is tasked with assisting machine builders and manufacturers with the planning, design and implementation of new machinery and equipment that feature PC-based control systems from Beckhoff Automation.
