The B&R Mobile Panel combines operating, monitoring and control in a single device. Not limited to a certain location the operating device with an integrated controller or with the Windows operating system is used where machine operation and monitoring require the maximum amount of flexibility.
Designed for rough industrial environments
The panel is perfectly suited for rough industrial environments. A rounded, double-walled housing absorbs hard impacts. The cable, connector and housing are protected from dust and sprayed water. A special soft-touch coating makes the surface of the Mobile Panel extremely resistant to acids, alcohol and cleaning agents. This is a major advantage of the Mobile Panel, especially when used in danger zones.
For this reason, a three-step enabling switch and an E-stop button are integrated in the device, both of which meet safety category 4. The connection to the switching cabinet is made using a single cable, which includes all supply, communication and control lines. This allows freedom of motion with the Mobile Panel. Additionally, the handle can be adjusted without tools allowing the Mobile Panel to be used optimally by both right and left handed operators.
The Mobile Panel with integrated controller is available with a 5.7" QVGA LCD color display or with an 8.4" VGA TFT color display. It is operated using a combination of function keys, numeric keys and a touch screen. Custom design of the décor foil, switching elements, display and panel color is possible.
