June 29, 2007 - B&R has been accepted as a supplier member of the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI) during the PMMI Spring board of Directors Meeting on April 21, 2007. The PMMI has over 500 General Members (mostly packaging OEM’s) as well as 23 Supplier Members. This step will further increase B&R’s continued involvement in the packaging industry. “We strongly believe that the benefits the PMMI Supplier Membership offers will support B&R in its continued efforts in the packaging industry. B&R is looking forward to further foster our relationships with existing B&R customers and to establish new relationships with machine manufacturers in the packaging industry.
The packaging industry is a very important target market for B&R and it is our goal to show new potential customers that B&R is a strong partner in the packaging industry offering an integrated automation solution from a single, reliable source.”
