August 19, 2019 - Brüel & Kjær Vibro (BKV) was selected in 2018 to replace an aging Bently Nevadamachinery protection system at the Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery (POCR) in Kazakhstan. BKV’s VC-8000 SETPOINT machinery protection system was chosen due to its compatibility with the existing installation and its ability to replace such legacy systems.
The authorized sales and service provider for BKV in Kazakhstan, Art IMPEX Group LLP, performed all installation and commissioning work.
The system has now been placed into service protecting hydrogen compressors K-201 and K-301 in the refinery’s LK-6U hydrocracking unit, and POCR has issued a letter, expressing their satisfaction.

In 2018 the company "ART IMPEX GROUP" LLP at the “PAVLODAR OIL CHEMISTRY REFINERY” LLP has modernized the protection and monitoring system of compressor equipment for compressors –¶–ö-201 and –¶–ö-301 of the gas compressor plant –õ–ö-6–£. The implemented system is built on the basis of the Briiel & Kjær Vibro SETPOINT system, developed in accordance with the API 670 standard and meeting all modern requirements and regulatory documents. Reliability, full integration with the ESD system (MAK), and generation of warning and alarm signals enabled SETPOINT to be installed in the automatic emergency protection system of the plant's units.
The company "ART IMPEX GROUP" LLP performed a full range of works on
equipping the units with a vibration protection system: Supply of equipment, design and survey, construction and commissioning works. The works were performed within the agreed time frame, in compliance with the requirements and norms of industrial safety and labor protection and were carried out through constant feedback from the customer's representatives.
