August 23, 2010 – CAS Data Loggers released PaintView Software 2.6 for paint curing applications in the paint and finishing industry. PaintView is an easy-to-use spreadsheet style software that works with an oven temperature data logger to provide zones for optimal paint curing, to pinpoint the location of uneven temperatures within the curing process and to identify opportunities to reduce energy usage. PaintView can monitor and provide feedback to control oven temperatures for optimum conditions. It also features “classic cure” and “area integration” cure analysis algorithms to measure the cure rate of many different types of paints from various paint manufacturers.
A convenient graphing feature within the software offers fully annotated curves, zoom and scrolling analysis functions, which can be saved as standard reports for proof of compliance. All data can be exported into Excel or as a CSV file for customized data analysis.PaintView is ideal for all powder coating operations including vehicle component finishers, automotive parts manufacturers, household appliance manufacturers, office furniture finishing, architectural finishing, oven manufacturers and paint suppliers.PaintView works with the Grant Squirrel OQ610 temperature data loggers and OMK610 paint oven temperature profiling system. The OQ610 data logger is a compact, battery-operated, 6-input thermocouple data logger that was designed specifically for process monitoring.
It uses a USB interface to communicate with a PC and can store pre-programmed cure data and provide a display of calculated percent cure on its built-in display. It can also connect to a printer and directly output reports for ISO9000 quality records.
