August 27, 2009 - Celesco Transducer Products offers the SR1E, an incremental encoder that delivers a linear resolution of 101 pulses per inch, while providing a full stroke linear measurement range of up to 125 inches or 3 meters. The SR1E ships with an industry-standard push-pull encoder driver that can be powered by 5-30 VDC although other resolutions and complimentary channels are available upon request from the factory. Additionally, each sensor ships with a 4-pin, field installable, M12 connector while an optional 13 feet or 4 meter cordset may also be specified to fit the end users application-specific requirement.
Measuring 8" x 4" x 4.75", the compact SR1E weighs just 2.5 lbs. (1.3Kg) and has a polycarbonate, Nema 6, IP67 rated enclosure for use in wet/dust prone environments.
