Delta’s CliQ and CliQ II DIN rail power supply and module series have more models now certified according to ATEX Directive 94/9/EC with group II, category 3G (Zone 2), nA or nA nC type of protection, IIC with T4 temperature class according to IEC/EN 60079-0 and IEC/EN 60079-15.
The popular CliQ product family also obtains Class I, Division 2 (group A, B, C & D. temperature class T4) approval according to ANSI/ISA–12.12.01 and CSA C22.2 No. 213 which are applicable for use in hazardous locations within North America.
In order to achieve the said certifications and safety approvals, the products must adhere to the design guidelines covering component types, layout and conformal coating requirement on the PCBA.
