November 16, 2011 - Colman Roche has been named Executive Vice President at Sapient Automation. Roche will be responsible for leading multiple facets and areas within Sapient Automation while implementing automated storage and retrieval material handling systems including Viper VLMs (Vertical Lift Modules), Avenger Vertical Carousels and Hornet Horizontal Carousels and Shark Inventory Management Software which is sold and integrated through its dealer business partners. Roche the former VP of Sales for KardexRemstar brings to Sapient Automation a wealth of experience having spent thirteen years in the Remstar and later the KardexRemstar, Westbrook, Maine, organization.
He started as the Horizontal Carousel Product Manager, Director of Systems Sales and was promoted to Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining KardexRemstar, Roche was employed by White Systems, Kenilworth, New Jersey, where he served as product engineer, research and development engineer, project manager, and systems engineer. Roche holds a B. Sc (Eng) from Trinity College, Dublin Ireland, a Dip.
