MEDFIELD, MA. — January 30, 2008 – Comark appointed industry veteran Kevin Ricketts to Director of Engineering. In this role Mr. Ricketts will oversee Comark’s hardware and software development, validation and program management. “With over a decade of experience in engineering and project management Kevin brings tremendous technical, and analytical skills to Comark,” commented Steve Schott, President of Comark Corporation.
“We are so thrilled to have him on our team; his extensive knowledge and insight will be an immediate benefit to our clients and staff.” Prior to joining Comark Corporation Mr. Ricketts held several senior level positions within Northstar Marine Electronics (formally Northstar Technologies) in Acton, MA. His most recent position held at Northstar was Director of Engineering. In this capacity Mr.
Ricketts was responsible for the development of several LCD integrated navigation systems which included DGPS positioning, vector cartography, NTSC/PAL video, radar, sonar, satellite weather, sea surface temperature and engine/vessel management. Mr. Ricketts graduated from Northeastern University Magna cum laude with a B.S. in Engineering Technology.
He also holds an Associate in Applied Science Degree from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. In addition, Mr. Ricketts is a member of the Management Roundtable, and the Product Development Management Association.
