Ascent 2007 vibration analysis software now includes support for Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.

Knoxville, TN – July 11, 2007 - Commtest released its Ascent 2007 vibration analysis software, which now includes support for Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. Dennis Shreve, Vice President of Commtest, had the following comments to add regarding the release of Ascent 2007. “In the interest of maintaining continuity and full support of our past and present product line offerings, Ascent 2007 bridges communications and database management of information from our existing vbSeries instruments, vbOnline modules, and our all-new vb7 offering.

Ascent has been written to support the latest Microsoft Windows platforms, and it offers several improvements in appearance, navigation, reporting, and PdM analysis functions.”In addition to Microsoft Windows Vista support, the newest iteration of our Ascent software offers the following upgrades and performance improvements:

  • Full support for the all-new vb7 instrument via both Ethernet and USB.
  • The new Applicable Instruments guide, designed to advise users which measurement parameters are available, and which aren't, according to the Commtest instrument used.
  • Enhanced Reporting functionality.
