June 8, 2010 - ConTech announces the TMJ Series of DC/DC converters. The TMJ Series offers 25 to 30 Watts of output power in an industry standard 2" x 1" package with two input ranges, 18 to 36VDC and 36 to 72VDC. Output voltages range from 2.5VDC to 15VDC.
The lower output voltages of 2.5, 3.3, 5, and 5.1, utilize synchronous rectification to achieve efficiencies as high as 88%. The TMJ series has input under-voltage protection as well as input over-voltage protection.
The operating ambient temperature range of the TMJ is -40 to 50°C with no de-rating. The non de-rated temperature range can be extended to 60C ambient with an optional heat sink. The unit is encapsulated with a thermally conductive potting compound in an anodized aluminum case for improved thermal performance in still air environments. The case also has six sided shielding. The TMJ Series is CSA 60950 approved.
