As of May 15, CONTROL magazine's first annual AutomationXchange event in Park City, Utah from August 22-25, 2004 is officially "sold out" with a full complement of 20 process industry end user firms participating. AutomationXchange arranges private meetings between end users and solution providers that offer products and services that match the end user company's budgeted initiatives. Openings are still available for supplier-company participants interested in presenting their solutions to prominent process industry executives who have signed on to this event expressly to evaluate technologies and review potential vendors. Each participating end user team has been has purchase authority and is fully prepared to meet with suppliers and entertain alternative solutions.
