EXTON, PA, November 18, 2004 - CONTROL AND INFORMATION SYSTEM INTEGRATORS ASSOCIATION (CSIA), the premier organization for system integrators specializing in automating industrial and manufacturing applications, has marked an important milestone with the enrollment of its 250th member - Beach Panel & Controls, Inc., a Chesapeake, VA-based system integrator.The new record high in membership reflects "the growing recognition by the manufacturing community," declared CSIA Executive Director Norman O'Leary,"of the special capabilities our members bring to today's increasingly complex control and information system projects.
Our REGISTERED MEMBERS, for xample," he continued, "bring to these projects a proven set of business management capabilities - beyond their acknowledged technical superiority - confirmed by the rigorous audit process that precedes registration status." Among today's more than 260 CSIA members (reflecting growth since the "250 milestone" was achieved in October) are more than 210 Regular (system integrators) Members, nearly 50 Associate (automation product suppliers)Members and the first five Participant Members - a new category of system integrator members, new or small system integrators who meet reduced sales volume requirements." These Participant Members represent an important new group of integrators who anticipate growing to meet the higher sales levels required of Regular Members.
The number also reflects the large and growing number of international members - from Russia, Japan, and Australia, to Switzerland, Brazil, and India." CSIA, established in 1994, has a primary mission of helping better system integrators become better business people.
