August 3, 2011 - DAILY RFID announced DL580 2.4GHz active RFID reader specially designed for easy asset tracking.
This 2.4GHz RFID reader DL580 could be customized to operate from ISM 2.4GHz to 2.5GHz frequency version.
Equipped with an external antenna, this 2.4GHz RFID long range reader can provide high performance within an adjustable read range of 0 to 100 meters. Besides, it has the ability of identifying a single tag in less than 1ms. And up to 500 pieces of tags could be simultaneously read under the anti-collision algorithm. Thus, asset tracking can be easier with such large detecting range of the reader DL580.
With 4 LED indicator lights designed at the bottom of this reader DL580, reading conditions of the tags (for example, whether the tag is in or out of the effective area) will be clearly reflected by the color of the LED light. Such fast reading rate and accurate identification mean makes the 2.4GHz RFID reader ideal for real-time asset management. And with a buffer capacity of 1000 tags data, this 2.4GHz active RFID reader DL580 can process hundreds of data at the same time.
