ZIONSVILLE, Indiana, Dec. 11, 2025 – The new 15 series enclosed Digital Speed Controller from Dart Controls is available in open or closed chassis styles and NEMA 1 and NEMA 4 enclosures, making it ideal for OEM applications in a wide variety of industries and applications. Updated circuitry uses SMT technology to deliver maximum power density from the smallest possible package, without sacrificing speed range or regulation. With dual voltage capability, and +/- 10% rated line voltage, they provide 1% speed regulation for 12/24VAC and 120/240 VAC, 50/60Hz applications.
They feature a 25:1 speed range, with an adjustable minimum speed of 0-30% of base, and an adjustable maximum speed of 66-100% of base. Protection built into the 15 series includes overload capacity of 200% for one-minute, transient voltage protection, line voltage compensation and adjustable IR compensation. Dart Controls series 15 are an ideal speed controller for fractional HP applications including conveyors and material handling, food equipment, dryers, ovens and more.
These compact models are ideal for space saving OEM designs yet include full featured technology including full wave bridge supply. Each unit includes a 5K ohm speed potentiometer. Enclosed models include a power on/off switch. All models rated for use from -10°C to 40°C ambient.
