Deadline approaches for ISA Educational Foundation Scholarships

ISA urges all interested automation and control students to apply prior to 16 February, which is the deadline for applications.

January 22, 2009 - The International Society of Automation (ISA) announces that there are three weeks left for submission of applications for its $40,000 cache of Educational Foundation Scholarships. ISA urges all interested automation and control students to apply prior to 16 February, which is the deadline for applications.ISA Educational Foundation Scholarships are awarded to full-time college or university students in a graduate, undergraduate, or 2-year degree program with an overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and who demonstrate outstanding potential for long-range contribution to the fields of automation and control.

Applicants should be enrolled in a program in automation and control or a closely-related field. The scholarship awards support tuition, related expenses, and/or research activities and initiatives.Applications must be postmarked on or before 16 February 2009 and received at ISA headquarters in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, by 26 February 2009.
