December 2, 2013 - DFI announces HD100-H81 Mini-ITX embedded motherboard. This Mini-ITX form factor is powered by the 4th generation Intel Core processor family. These 4th generation Intel Core processors with LGA 1150 socket provide for smooth flash playback and rich 2D/3D graphics with high quality playback enabling a compelling visual experience for intelligent systems that display videos, graphics and interactive content such as digital signs. The Intel HD Graphics engine integrated into these 4th generation Intel Core processors supports 20 Graphics Execution Units (EUs) with dynamic turbo boost to accelerate video processing, and Intel Clear Video Technology providing advanced imaging capabilities for Blu-Ray and other high definition video processing.
Additional features include integrated Intel graphics accelerator with HDMI, DVI-I and LVDS interfaces that support 3 displays: HDMI and DVI-I support up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz resolution, and LVDS supports 24-bit dual channel display. The HD100-H81 designed with 2 dual channel DDR3/DDR3L SODIMM sockets delivers maximum performance with up to 16GB. It also supports 5.1-channel HD Audio and 2 Intel Gigabit LAN connectors with increased transmission speed for network-intensive applications. In addition, the Intel H81 express chipset used on this new desktop platform delivers faster and more efficient power with improved and flexible I/O, including 8 USB ports, 2 SATA ports, 2 COM ports, and 8-bit Digital I/O connector for device controls.
The expansion design of this Mini-ITX embedded motherboard also offers additional capabilities for various demands via multiple PCIe configurations, including 1 PCIe x16 slot (PCIe 2.0) and 1 Mini PCIe slot that support USB and PCIe signals, mSATA, and full size Mini PCIe card.
