DFI releases HD101-H81 Mini-ITX embedded motherboard
HD101-H81 is powered by the 4th generation Intel Core processor family with the Intel H81 chipset.

September 24, 2013 – DFI releases HD101-H81 Mini-ITX embedded motherboard, powered by the 4th generation Intel Core processor family built on 22-nanometer process technology with the Intel H81 chipset that delivers up to 5~15% CPU performance increase over the previous generations. The Intel HD Graphics engine integrated into these 4th generation Intel Core processors supports 6 Graphics Execution Units (EUs) with dynamic turbo boost to accelerate video processing, and Intel Clear Video Technology providing advanced imaging capabilities for Blu-Ray and other high definition video processing such as image stabilization, gamut mapping and frame rate conversion.

Performance is further increased through the instruction of Intel DirectX Video Acceleration (DXVA) providing acceleration of complex audio, video, and image processing. Additional features include integrated Intel graphics accelerator with HDMI, DVI-I and LVDS interfaces support 3 independent displays: HDMI and DVI-I support up to 1920 x 1200 @60Hz resolution, and LVDS supports 24-bit dual channel display. The HD100-H81 designed with 2 dual channel DDR3/DDR3L SODIMM sockets delivers maximum performance with up to 16GB or 1333/1600MHz low voltage memory for faster communication between components. It also supports 5.1-channel HD Audio with S/PDIF input/output interface and 2 Intel Gigabit LAN controllers with increased transmission speed for network-intensive applications.

The Intel H81 express chipset used on this scalable desktop platform delivers faster and more efficient power with improved and flexible I/O, including 2 USB 3.0, 6 USB 2.0, 2 SATA 3.0 ports with data transfer rate up to 6Gb/s, 2 Serial COM ports, 1 12V DC-in jack and 8-bit Digital I/O connector for device controls.

The expansion design of this Mini-ITX embedded motherboard also offers additional capabilities for the various demands via multiple PCIe configurations, including 1 PCIe x16 slot (PCIe 2.0) for high performance graphics displays, and 1 Mini PCIe slot that supports USB and PCIe signals, mSATA, and half size Mini PCIe card. Based on these features described above, the HD101-H81 Mini-ITX embedded motherboard is a perfect product for a whole range of applications such as industrial control automation, telecom, and transportation.
