December 8, 2015 - Distech Controls introduces ECLYPSE VAV Controller that controls any variable air volume box application “out of the box” with preloaded, configurable applications and embedded ENVYSION (web-based graphic design and visualization interface) Viewer, for local hosting of application graphics. These productivity enhancing tools, embedded directly into the ECLYPSE Connected VAV Controllers, ease and improve the installation and configuration process, thereby enabling significant time and cost savings.

BTL listed as a BACnet Building Controller (B-BC), the controllers also feature embedded schedules, alarms and trend logs. As part of the ECLYPSE Connected IP and Wi-Fi product series, these controllers were also developed so as to use standard web services protocols, facilitating data exchange and providing unique opportunities for value added services.

The ECLYPSE Connected VAV Controller series allow for the choice between wired IP and Wi-Fi – or a combination of both on a same controller – so as to easily tailor implementation throughout the building to suit the available IT infrastructure, architecture and layouts, minimizing impact on the building. This results in reduced costs and improved BMS performance.

In addition, the Connected VAV Controllers support the company’s Smart Room Control solution, a unified system for the control of HVAC room terminal equipment, lighting, and shades/sunblind. By choosing ECLYPSE VAV controllers, one can bring IP-based connectivity to this unique and modular solution, resulting in the highest levels of comfort for occupants, as well as operational cost savings.
