Easy TeSys Motor Starters

Schneider Electric's Easy TeSys GP2E manual motor starter, together with the three-pole DPE contactor and the DPER thermal overload relays, are designed to switch and protect the most common motor applications. The quality of Schneider Electric motor controls keeps pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, and motors turning. Conveyors, HVAC, refrigeration, packaging, bottling, furnaces and other types of equipment depend on reliable motor control to function. Easy TeSys includes three-pole thermal-magnetic circuit breakers conforming to IEC 60947-2 and IEC 60947-4-1 standards. These devices also conform to UL 60947-4-1 as manual motor controllers and are rated suitable for motor disconnect, as well as group motor applications.

With a simple padlockable START-STOP pushbutton operation, users can easily control motors and lockout the circuit when performing maintenance. Motor protection is provided by the thermal-magnetic protection elements incorporated in the manual motor starter. As per IEC 60947-4-1 standards, the magnetic elements (short-circuit protection) have a non-adjustable tripping threshold which is equal to about 13 times the maximum setting current of the thermal trips. The thermal elements (overload protection) include automatic compensation for ambient temperature variations. The rated operational current of the motor is displayed by means of a graduated knob.

Easy TeSys manual motor controllers are easily mounted on din rail or directly to the panel.
