BADEN-BADEN, Germany - Eaton Corporation announced the launch of the new Vickers™ DG4V3 70 series valve (directional controls ISO 4401 size 3) designed for connectivity and functionality. The 70 series valve enhances the proven 60 design by leveraging contemporary electronics practices, adding connectivity and functionality, and meeting major automotive plant specifications. The new Vickers valve saves energy, protects the environment, and reduces costs. DG4V3 can run on a low power, 8-watt coil or if demands are higher, the valve can be run, for example, on a 30-watt coil with low-power 10mA switches directly on valve through onboard control electronics.
In either case, customers can use a single low-power Program Logic Controller (PLC) with digital capabilities via a serial interface, opening up a completely new world of machine control solutions.This robust, cost-effective and versatile DG4V3 70 series valve has a high environmental rating of IP 67 and features plug in coils, universal M12 four-pin connector and surge protection.
