eBay To Offer eBay University Seminars At National Manufacturing Week 2004

Free Classes Offer Tips on Buying and Selling Industrial Equipment on eBay

eBay, The World's Online Marketplace, brings its popular roving university to National Manufacturing Week February 23-25, 2004 at the McCormick Convention Center in Chicago. Since its inception in June 2000, eBay University has instructed more than 70,000 people on the ins and outs of buying and selling on eBay.

At National Manufacturing Week, eBay University seminars will take place Monday-Wednesday from 11:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M., and 3:00-4:00 P.M in room S503B.

Taught by eBay experts, these free seminars will include general training about how to buy and sell industrial equipment for your business on eBay. For sellers, the classes will provide insight into using eBay as a complementary channel to reach a variety of new customers. Buyers will learn how to save money on Industrial equipment and supplies from eBay's more than 170,000 business-related listings. "eBay University has been a great tool in teaching businesses and consumers how to use eBay to their advantage," said Laurence Toney, senior category manager of eBay's MRO category .
