Downloadable machine guarding products brochure includes non-contact sensors and control units for industrial machine safety.

May 9, 2007 - Elobau Sensor Technology offers its newest machine guarding products brochure to all interested parties. Included in the brochure are several non-contact sensors and control units for industrial machine safety.

This 12-page brochure is available from the company in hard copy or may be downloaded from the company’s website at www.elobau.com/en/news2.php4?IDD=61 .Included among the new products detailed in the brochure are a new control unit for small machines, having two separated safety circuits for a sensor and an emergency stop; a control unit with two safety outputs and two sensor inputs; a non-contact sensor system with integrated safety output, control output and status LED; and coded magnet sensors with N/O and N/C contacts plus an additional N/O circuit for use as a control contact, in 3 different housing configurations, all featuring wide operating distance and misalignment values.

Of particular note is the compliance of all these products to the new international standards for machine safety. These Elobau products provide SIL (Safety Integrated Level) to the IEC 61508 and PL (Performance Level) to the ISO 13849-1 standards. Elobau products already conform to the safety requirements of EN 954-1. For machine designers, this means Elobau products are compliant to nearly every international regulation for machine safety. A helpful chart is included in the brochure to assist with the standards evaluation.

The brochure features photos of the new products as well as schematic diagrams and performance data. Interested parties should contact Elobau for a full catalog on these and other controls, sensors and machine/vehicle safety products from the company.
