Endress+Hauser New Zealand customers will benefit from more comprehensive support and additional offerings.

Nov. 3, 2025 – After more than 50 years of successful cooperation, Endress+Hauser is taking over the process measurement division of EMC Industrial Group Ltd in New Zealand. The new sales office was integrated into the global network on Nov. 1, 2025. Endress+Hauser New Zealand customers will benefit from more comprehensive support and additional offerings.

At the headquarters in Auckland and the branch office in Christchurch, 14 experienced employees from sales, marketing and service are transferring to Endress+Hauser New Zealand. “With the integration of this dedicated team, we can continue to provide our customers with excellent service and ensure a seamless transition,” said Laurent Mulley, chief sales officer at Endress+Hauser. He emphasizes: “This investment strengthens our market position in New Zealand.”

Network offers new opportunities

Ali Hafeez, managing director of Endress+Hauser Australia, will head up the new sales office. The connection to the local sales center will enable the company to support customers in New Zealand with even greater expertise in the future and offer an even broader range of products – such as laboratory measurement technology from Analytik Jena or gas flowmeters and process analyzers from the strategic partnership with SICK.

In business for decades

EMC has represented Endress+Hauser for over 50 years–longer than any other representative worldwide. Chris Gailer, second-generation managing director of the family business, sees the takeover as a step toward securing the future: “Our customers benefit from expanded resources and expertise without having to sacrifice the quality and personal service they are accustomed to.” In the future, he will focus entirely on the weighing technology business with EMC Industrial Weighing Ltd.

The Endress+Hauser Group

Endress+Hauser is a global leader in measurement and automation technology for process and laboratory applications. The family company, headquartered in Reinach, Switzerland, achieved net sales of more than 3.7 billion euros in 2024 with a total workforce of over 17,000.
