TAMPA BAY, FLORIDA (May 5, 2008) – Encelium Technologies announced that its ECS energy management and lighting control system can integrate with Tridium’s Niagara AX framework.Integration of Encelium’s Energy Control System (ECS) technology with Tridium allows the system to communicate with other building systems in “intelligent” building applications. “By integrating with the Tridium Niagara AX framework, we can help building owners and managers dramatically reduce energy consumption across multiple systems such as HVAC as well as lighting,” said Terry Mocherniak, CEO of Encelium. The Encelium system also features BACnet/IP to facilitate communication and integration with other building systems.

Today’s announcement of a dedicated Niagara AX driver expands this integration capability and accelerates Encelium’s position as a leader in intelligent building systems. “This is a significant milestone, and one more reason why Encelium is at the forefront of the ‘green’ building movement,” Mocherniak added.
