April 8, 2014 - Endress+Hauser releases Prowirl 200 vortex flowmeter for use in safety-related systems in accordance with IEC 61508. The device can be used in SIL 2 and SIL 3 applications to measure wet steam directly in the pipe, compressed gases, liquefied gases and liquids.
Measurements have max. error of 0.75% from meas. value at process temperatures between –200 to + 400°C and pressures up to 250 bar.
The Prowirl 200 expands on the uniform device concept for flow and level and thus reduces operational complexity. Over seven measurement technologies from flow and level are available with uniform transmitters. The concept standardizes operation, menu structures, function designations, software, interfaces, data management, system integration, error display, documentation and product structure.
