BLAINVILLE, QC, October 6, 2005 – Eurobex Manufacturing Ltd. today announced the acquisition of certain assets of competitor McKinstry, Inc., New England’s leading electrical enclosure manufacturer. This acquisition will broaden Eurobex’s sales network in the United States.
Founded in 1949 and based in Chicopee, Massachusetts, McKinstry will be integrated with Eurobex’s existing business, which serves the commercial, industrial and municipal markets.Eurobex will retain McKinstry’s experienced sales, customer service andengineering personnel, in order to ensure a seamless transition to the newoperating company, Eurobex USA Inc. Production will be transferred toEurobex’s existing automated manufacturing facilities in Blainville, QC andMississauga, ON. “McKinstry has enjoyed remarkable long-term relationships with many of theiragents and customers.
