February 8, 2011 - Exele Information Systems released TopView 6.9.0 with Mobile Browser optimizations. TopView can create multiple, customized reports of current tag values and alarms ("snapshots") as HTML formatted files. With Mobile Browser capability, the output can be formatted for wide or narrow screens, with special settings for mobile web browsers.
HTML Snapshot Reports can be attached to notification messages, emailed on schedule, and published to a web server. Users can also request current reports via email. “With TopView’s new mobile web browser reporting options our customers can view current alarm and value reports without spending a lot of time zooming and scrolling to see the entire page on their smart phones” said Mike Fishman, Exele VP. “ In situations where personnel are spending less time in front of their computer screen and doing more on their mobile devices, this provides a new level of connectivity by delivering vital information in an easy-to-read mobile format” noted Fishman.
