Through a mouse-click, OPCcalc and EDICTvb users can request a "snapshot" of any running process calculation library.
Exele OPCcalc and EDICTvb version 3.4 released Process Calculation Software for OPC (PLCs, SCADA, Control Systems, Historians) and PI.Users are often removed from the inner workings of their running process calculations. Once the calculations are developed and deployed, they run inside a "black box" with little real-time diagnostic ability beyond the calculation outputs. The goal of Library Snapshots is to provide quick and easy access to the details of running process calculations without the need to add trace files or to run debuggers.
Through a simple mouse-click, OPCcalc and EDICTvb users can request a "snapshot" any running process calculation library. The Library Snapshot is displayed to the user as a set of reports that can be viewed and exported.
The Library Snapshot contains 6 separate reports:
Summary Report: an overview of the library including number of equations, number of tags, runtime and output error counts Values Report: a list of all input and output tags (value, timestamp, status) plus any user-added values Equation Report: start time, end time and output information for each equation Output Error Report: a list of any output/write errors Runtime Error Report: a list of any runtime errors per equation Unique Tags Report: a unique list of the tags in useOPCcalc is a vendor-neutral, process calculation framework for OPC data. OPCcalc allows you to easily create process calculations that use OPC tags as equation inputs and outputs. OPCcalc handles all of the "plumbing" for your equations, letting you concentrate on your calculation logic.EDICTvb.Net is a process calculation framework for OSISoft PI. EDICTvb.Net allows you to easily create process calculations that use PI tags as equation inputs and outputs. EDICTvb.Net handles all of the "plumbing" for your equations, letting you concentrate on your calculation logic.
