September 7, 2018 - exida has added a new course to its Cybersecurity Practitioner program. CS 201: IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Software Development focuses on techniques for creating and updating software that adds cybersecurity resilience to a device or application.
The methods taught in the course are based on the IEC 62443-4-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 standards, which represent the expertise of a large group of global experts to reduce cyber vulnerabilities by laying a solid foundation of cyber defense mechanisms for automation system networks.
CS 201 uses a combination of lectures and workshops to explain how to effectively integrate software cybersecurity into an existing software development process. This course prepares candidates for the IEC 62443 Certified Automation Cybersecurity Expert (CACE) exam for demonstrating personnel cybersecurity competency.
