Global workshops provides expanded opportunity for fieldbus instruction
VIENNA, Austria, February 23, 2005 — The Fieldbus Foundation, conducting its 2005 General Assembly in Vienna, Austria, today announced the sites for its 2005 FOUNDATION™ fieldbus seminar program. With instructional workshops planned for key locations worldwide, the foundation is offering the best opportunity ever for plant automation end-users, suppliers and contractors to “Get on the Fast Track” to fieldbus technology.For 2005, the Fieldbus Foundation will conduct a seminar program with locations in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
The organization will also present seminars at its annual General Assembly, to be held February 23-24 in Vienna, Austria.The foundation’s seminar program includes one- and two-day courses focusing on the key issues of plant-wide integration with FOUNDATION fieldbus. Attendees will receive valuable information concerning fieldbus installations and advancements, together with user case studies demonstrating the benefits of the technology. Hands-on fieldbus workshops and panel discussions will also be conducted.
In addition to the seminar/workshop proceedings, attendees will receive a free copy of the foundation’s System Engineering Guide (AG-181) and the Fieldbus Intrinsic Safety Guide (AG-163).The 2005 seminar locations include:
