High Degree of Noise Immunity Provided By Outputs CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, MARCH 20, 2007 - GE Fanuc Automation, announced the availability of a new isolated relay output module for its PACSystems® RX3i and Series 90™-30 controllers. The new 4 Amp 16 Point Relay Output module provides 16 Form A relays for controlling output loads. The maximum output switching capacity of each circuit is 4 Amps. Each output point is isolated from the other points, and each point has a separate common power output terminal. Outputs provide a high degree of noise immunity, minimizing the need to add external snubbers.
The relay outputs can control a wide range of output devices, such as: motor starters, solenoids, and indicators. This module is available as a PACSystems RX3i output module or as a Series 90-30 PLC output module. The PACSystems RX3i controller is an integral part of the innovative PACSystems family of programmable automation controllers (PACs). Like the rest of the family, the PACSystems RX3i features a single control engine and universal programming environment to provide application portability across multiple hardware platforms and deliver a true convergence of control choices. The RX3i offers a high level of automation functionality in a compact, cost-effective package.
The PACSystems portable control engine provides high performance on several different platforms, allowing OEMs and end users with application variability to choose the exact control system hardware that best suits their needs. The Series 90-30 PLC is a family of controllers, I/O systems and specialty modules designed to meet the demand for versatile industrial solutions. With its single overall control architecture, the Series 90-30 has been the PLC of record in more than 500,000 applications, such as high-speed packaging, material handling, complex motion control, water treatment, continuous emissions monitoring, mining, food processing, elevator control, injection molding and many more.
