The FA/PA trade fair, previously run by the China Association for Mechatronics Technology & Applications, will be run by Deutsche Messe, organizers of Hannover Fair.

November 29, 2009 - The FA/PA (International Exhibition of Modern Factory/Process Automation Technology and Equipment) is a successful trade event with a strong, long-standing name in the automation sector. Since its premiere in 1995 FA/PA has provided exhibitors with an ideal arena for presenting their state-of-the-art products and technology. The trade fair had hitherto been organized by the China Association for Mechatronics Technology & Applications, which will continue to provide the FA/PA with professional consulting and support. The organization of the trade fair will now be the responsibility of Deutsche Messe and its subsidiary Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd.

The next trade fair in May 2010 is expected to attract around 400 exhibitors occupying a total display area of approx. 20,000 square metres. With its focus on the key sectors of production and process automation, electrical systems, robotics and IT solutions and software for industrial automation, FA/PA will see all the leading manufacturers in these sectors. The trade fair will be augmented by a high-calibre conference and seminar program boasting leading experts and scientists from all over the world. The past few decades have witnessed a period of sustained growth for the Chinese economy.

During this period a rigorous program of modernization and rationalization of the country's factories and production plant have provided the basis for strong growth in industrial output. This process of modernization is still continuing, and current trends and developments in the Chinese plant manufacturing sector demonstrate that industry is still on course for further reform and modernization. Against this background the trade fair FA/PA will continue to provide leading manufacturers with an ideal platform for showcasing their best engineering products, technologies and solutions.
