January 22, 2020 – Hardy Process Solutions has introduced a product in the Hardy HI 6200 single-channel weight processor series designed for PROFINET Industrial Ethernet networks. Operating within PROFINET Conformance Class A (CC-A) as single network devices, the HI 6200 is suited for OEMs and System Integrators building machinery where accurate, stable and fast weight data are critical components to successful designs.
At 2 inches wide and 3 inches high (40 sq. cm), the HI 6200 series are designed for machine level integration in process skids or manufacturing equipment. A color TFT display provides operations and measurements and instrument status.
The product is designed for applications in the food & beverage, chemical processing, consumer goods packaging, medical and pharmaceutical, and other manufacturing and processing industries.
32-bit ARM Core processing, combined with Hardy’s WAVERSAVER filtering technology ensure stable weight readings in adverse conditions where mechanical vibrations can plague process control. The color, touch-screen interface or the built-in Webserver allows anyone with basic scale knowledge to set-up and operate the instrument without having to read a manual or receive instruction. TheHI 6200 PROFINET also includes Hardy Process Toolbox, a set of Hardy productivity tools featuring C2 weightless calibration, INTEGRATED TECHNICIAN instrument diagnostics, and a suite of control integration tools such as a PROFINET GSD file.
Other models in the HI 6200 series include an EtherNet/IP weight processor and an Analog 4-20 mA weight transmitter.
