ESPELKAMP/HREMBERG, Nov. 25, 2025 – The HARTING Technology Group will be presenting connection technology and cable solutions for a digitalized, electrified and automated world at the “Smart Production Solutions” (SPS) trade fair in Nuremberg from Nov. 25-27 2025.
At its 300 square metre stand in Hall 10, the Technology Group will be presenting products, solutions and services for numerous areas of application. As one of the market leaders in industrial connection technology, HARTING focuses on the intelligent networking of the energy, industry, infrastructure and mobility sectors. To this end, HARTING develops high-performance interfaces that reliably transmit data and energy, thus laying the foundation for a networked and resource-efficient future.
Standardized data connectors from the Technology Group enable end-to-end communication from the sensor to the cloud. For energy transmission, HARTING offers robust connectors that work reliably even under demanding conditions–such as high power classes, varying IP protection or harsh environments. "Our solutions are driving the sustainable transformation of these sectors. At SPS, we will demonstrate how modern connection technology accelerates processes, saves resources and offers maximum reliability," said Norbert Gemmeke, senior vice president Global Product Development & Project Management.
Future-proof connection technology for smart devices
With the increasing miniaturization and digitalization of industrial applications, the demands on the packing density and performance of interfaces are growing. At SPS, HARTING will be presenting compact, high-performance connectors such as the Han-Modular Domino modules. The advantage: they are flexible and space-saving. In addition, the Technology Group will be showcasing board-to-board and board-to-cable solutions developed specifically for smart automation devices. These are powerful, robust and flexible, and are ideal for use in networked production environments.
Visitors can also expect to see digital design support tools such as Digital Twin and Product Data Passport. These provide customers with optimal support for the integration and development of their devices. The myHARTING portal provides them with standardized, transparent product information for a simplified design-in process.
Fast, reliable, scalable: New plug-and-play solutions
At the trade fair, HARTING will be showcasing new and easy-to-integrate plug-and-play solutions for setting up industrial automation structures without errors. Thanks to pre-assembled cable solutions and modular connection systems, machines and systems can be put into operation much more quickly. They make everyday work easier in times of increasing skills shortages and growing complexity.
A particular highlight is the new D-Sub PushPull. It combines classic D-Sub interfaces with a modern locking mechanism. The PushPull locking mechanism allows tool-free plugging and unplugging, increases user-friendliness and ensures a secure connection. This makes it ideal for harsh industrial environments and retrofit solutions.
New tools and processing technologies for accelerated processes
At SPS, HARTING is presenting innovative tools and semi-automated processing technologies that reduce assembly times and increase process reliability. These include a new crimping machine. It processes turned contacts on tape, which are fed automatically. At the same time, it ensures up to 80% faster processes – even with large cross-sections up to 70A/10–25 mm². HARTING is also presenting mobile and pneumatic crimping tools that process cables in the 0.14–10 mm² range precisely and efficiently, as well as multifunctional workstations for hands-on demonstrations.
With these solutions, the HARTING Technology Group is underlining its role as a pioneer for a networked industry and demonstrating how connection technology contributes to the realization of a sustainable future.
Visitors to the SPS can also expect to see the following at the HARTING stand:
- ICC20 circular connectors for demanding environments in robotics and automation
- Han S 450 plus for scalable energy storage systems
- Domino modules for vibration-proof camera connections with high data rates
- Customized cable solutions that enable fast and error-free plug-and-play installation
