February 3, 2015 - This year, Integrated Industry will feature as the HARTING Technology Group’s key topic at the Hanover Fair (Hall 11, Stand C 13) from 13 to 17 April 2015. HARTING will be presenting – live on the fair stand – a production line demonstrating solutions for Integrated Industry.
The Espelkamp family company is thereby positioning itself as a trailblazer for technological change. “Integrated Industry will change almost all industrial companies in coming years. We offer customers tailor-made solutions and accompany them along the way”, as Dr. Volker Franke, Managing Director, HARTING Applied Technologies, emphasizes.
The HARTING production line, as an Integrated Industry Demonstrator, presents the topic holistically and combines elements such as the flexible assembly system “FlexiMon”, a research project conducted within the framework of the “it‘s OWL” leading-edge cluster, with system integration solutions on the basis of SAP. “With this production line we have also included the aspects of the Smart Factory, the internet of things and services, and the Industrial Internet”, Claus Hilger, Managing Director HARTING IT Services, says.
Consequently, a Plug&Produce modularization concept based on the Han-Modular standard was implemented in the demonstrator, for example. The production unit with three production cells is linked into the fabrication environment via a smart infrastructure solution.
At the Hanover Fair, HARTING will be presenting the topic of Integrated Industry as something to be experienced, and that in a comprehensible way, as Hilger also underscores. At the world’s largest industrial fair this April, HARTING will also be showcasing a range of new, innovative products and solutions, all in the context of “Integrated Industry”.
