July 27, 2018 – Hatebur introduced the HOTmatic AMP 20 N, a machine that was designed for the manufacturing of forged cam lobes. With this product novelty, the Swiss company aims to improve the efficiency and productivity of suppliers in the automotive industry.
To date, most of the forged cam lobes are produced on the two Hatebur machines HOTmatic AMP 30 S und 20 S.
The machine has a total press load of 1500 kN. The machine body has been reinforced for stability. “In three forming stations and with a maximum of 200 strokes per minute, the AMP 20 N produces cam lobes with an outer diameter of up to 48mm out of raw parts with 24 to 217 grams”, summarizes Reinhard Bührer, Head of Marketing and Sales at Hatebur.
