HIMA Expands Its Base in France
HIMA, a leading provider of safety-related automation solutions, is pursuing a clear strategy to strengthen customer partnerships in key markets and expand its sales and service presence. The latest example is the expansion of its long-standing presence in France.

Nov. 3, 2022 - HIMA is strengthening its large installed base and existing partnerships in France. In the most visible sign, HIMA France moved into new premises at its Jossigny site, near Val d’Europe RER Station, less than an hour's drive east of Paris, on Oct. 19. "By expanding our market presence in France, we are confirming our long-term commitment to supporting our customers and partners in France," said Jörg de la Motte, CEO at HIMA.

The new location features excellent transport infrastructure and offers new opportunities for training, workshops and meetings with customers to jointly develop and implement innovative safety solutions for the process and rail industries. During the opening event, Managing Partner Steffen Philipp, CEO Jörg de la Motte, European Sales Director Josse Brys and HIMA France Sales and Country Manager Guillaume Mbow, welcomed customers and guests. "It is a great day for our team in France. In the future, we will appear on the market with more staff, our new office, a new spirit and a higher quality of services," emphasized Guillaume Mbow.

Thematically, the team's vast expertise is available across the full spectrum––from safety topics such as HIPPS (high-integrity pressure protection systems) to security topics for the process and rail industries. At the new location, HIMA continues to roll out its Inspiring Work concept, which offers state-of-the-art working conditions. To enhance the well-being of employees and visitors, the new building is more modern, efficient and energy-saving. The spacious areas of the technical and service area, as well as larger training and meeting rooms, offer plenty of space for welcoming customers and training participants.

"We are sure that the new site will not only further increase our market share in France, but also expand our business with safety-related automation solutions in the French-speaking countries in West Africa," said Josse Brys, looking into the future.
