November 15, 2011 - IBASE Technology announced MB941 Intel G41 Express chipset-based Micro ATX motherboard. The board comes with four COM ports that support RS-232 levels and one of these ports also support RS-422/ RS-485 levels. MB941 comes equipped with the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500 (GMA X4500) that makes smooth high-definition video playback possible without the need for add-in video cards or decoders and allows it to deliver optimized 3D graphics performance. With an LGA775 socket that fits in Intel Core2 Quad/Duo family and Intel Celeron processors with system bus of 1333/1066/800MHz, MB941 features two DDR3 memory slots that accommodate up to 4GB of system memory for faster system responsiveness.
The board has two Gigabit Ethernet ports, as well as four SATA II ports, eight USB 2.0 ports and a printer port. Expansion slots available are one PCI-E(x16), one PCI-E(x1) and two PCI slots. MB941 is ideal for industrial, embedded and communications applications that can make use of the multiple COM ports on board. Measuring 244mm by 244mm, it optionally comes with the ID395 daughter boards for TPM function.
