Enhancements in V10.9 include predictive fault detection and diagnostics (FDD) solutions.

December 17, 2015 - ICONICS released V10.9 of its AnalytiX analytical tools, including enhancements to its Facility AnalytiX predictive fault detection and diagnostics (FDD) solution.

Facility AnalytiX V10.9 features include:

  • Point and Click Fault Trends – enables users to quickly view faults and associated trend data by clicking on a fault, launching a related trend and displaying fault history.
  • FDD Engine Enhancements – FDDWorX, which is at the heart of Facility AnalytiX and available for any manufacturing, energy management, building or industrial automation application, offers numerous improvements including wide use of concurrent collections and parallel tasks, the ability to capture and log data values of individual variables used in expression calculations, and the exposure of Runtime counts of active faults as real-time data points (per asset and also at aggregate levels for groups of assets).
  • Commanding – allows users to execute any command through the FDD Viewer.
  • In addition to the ability for users to define their own organization’s faults, Facility AnalytiX V10.9, contains over 300 proven fault rules covering a wide array of industries and equipment, helping to speed up detection and diagnostic processes.

This feature enables operators to drill down into the fault history for real-time advanced analysis and actionable insight into their data.

Commands can take values from the fault itself, enabling tighter integration with disparate systems such as Building Automation Systems, ERP Systems, Work Order Management or CMMS.

“Fault detection and diagnostics can help organizations save on preventable costs,” said Russ Agrusa, President and CEO of ICONICS. “We’ve enhanced our FDDWorX technology at the core of Facility AnalytiX to make it even easier for users to utilize new or existing fault rules, expand fault properties and connect them to multiple automated commands. Customers can use what was previously untapped institutional knowledge and determine the probability of causes based on symptoms, helping to shorten maintenance work order response times.”
