IFS business software to integrate engineering, supply chain at Tec Industries

IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announced today that Tec Industries, LLC, a contract manufacturer of advanced carbon fiber composite products, has signed a contract to implement IFS Applications™ business software. The company will deploy the IFS system at its headquarters and manufacturing and distribution facility in Orange City, Iowa, and Quatro engineering and development facility in Poway, California.

CHICAGO, June 1, 2005 - IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announced today that Tec Industries, LLC, a contract manufacturer of advanced carbon fiber composite products, has signed a contract to implement IFS Applications™ business software. The company will deploy the IFS system at its headquarters and manufacturing and distribution facility in Orange City, Iowa, and Quatro engineering and development facility in Poway, California. Tec Industries manufactures products for a variety of industries, including medical device, aerospace, automotive, sporting goods, wind energy, and audio. The company formerly was affiliated with another IFS customer, CIVCO, a medical device company that manufactures and distributes radiation oncology products worldwide.

"IFS Applications will enable us to function as a single enterprise by providing a seamless flow of information between our Iowa and California sites."
