July 9, 2008 – ILS Technology named Fred Yentz as its chief executive officer (CEO), effective July 1. Mr. Yentz, previously ILS Technology’s senior vice president and chief operating officer, will succeed Joe Cestari, who has stepped down. “Joe’s leadership, vision and experience were key drivers of the growth of ILS Technology’s business, and has positioned the company for long-term strategic success,” said Fred Yentz, CEO of ILS Technology. “I look forward to building on this success to further expand our businesses and strategic partnerships.
Our goal is to enable customers to improve their operations and bottom line profitability through intelligent connectivity.”Outgoing CEO Joe Cestari will continue with ILS Technology in an advisory manner as a charter member of the company’s advisory board.Mr. Yentz has more than twenty years of experience in the technology industry, including management positions at companies such as RadiSys Corp. and IBM.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), Electronics Industry Alliance (EIA), National Science and Technology Education Program (NSTEP), and is chairman of the Industry Advisory Board for Florida Atlantic University’s College of Engineering.
