Research Triangle Park, NC (25 October 2005) -- The latest technology innovations will be showcased in the new Innovation Alley that will debut in Houston at ISA EXPO 2006, 17-19 October 2006. The Alley will be organized by Dick Morley, the father of the PLC, technology innovator, and thought leader. "We're happy to have Dick Morley, one of the great thinkers in our industry, to be the czar of this activity for ISA. This initiative will, in many ways, introduce automation professionals to the future of the industry - and we're confident that will have a lasting positive impact on the field," said 2006 ISA President Ken Baker. As "Alley Czar," Dick Morley will recruit and select the small companies that are innovating in areas that may have future use in automation applications.

The Alley will provide an opportunity for attendees to see the future, along with the commercial innovations of today's automation hardware, software, and service suppliers that are presented in the traditional exhibits." The ISA EXPO 2006 Innovation Alley will be an exciting opportunity for folks to see innovations arising for the bright minds of emerging technologists. I've been privileged to encounter many of these individuals in my travels and engagements, and I'm delighted to be able to work with ISA to bring them to the annual EXPO event," Morley commented. "ISA has been gracious to grant me czar status in identifying and selecting the companies that will participate in this part of EXPO and I look forward to establishing my ground rules over the next few months.

I think it will be a great enhancement to the event, showcasing new and innovative ideas and products that are sure to change the way we look at our industry." As North America's #1 event for automation professionals, ISA EXPO is a catalyst for the exchange of information and ideas. ISA EXPO 2006 will feature the latest and most extensive products and services exhibition, a strategically relevant technical conference, and a prominent continuing education and training program.
