Back in June Ircon released the new Modline 5 Infrared thermometer. One of the popular options for the Modline 5 is the Digital Panel Meter (DPM). The DPM is more then just a simple panel meter, but a complete remote setup and diagnostics tool for the Modline 5.The DPM provides remote communication to the Modline 5 via RS-485. The temperature display can be toggled between current, min, and max temperature at the touch of a key.

Each DPM display come pre-loaded with the entire programming menu of the Modline 5 built in. Menu commands occur in the same logical order as the rear keypad of the Modline 5 thermometer so that operators can easily add the panel mount display with full communications capabilities without re-learning the programming. The DPM also provides remote initiation of the Modline 5 diagnostics. A total system health check and dirty window detection of the Modline 5 can be remotely initiated from the DPM keypad. If a fault condition occurs, the DPM Digital Panel Meter provides visual indication that the thermometer needs to be checked.

Finally an optional quad relay board can be ordered with the DPM to provide four temperature setpoint relay contacts. The DPM Digital Panel Meter provides all of this functionality in a 1/8 DIN panel mount package. The DPM front bezel is NEMA 4X rated to withstand moisture and corrosion. A bright red 4 digit LED display is used along with separate indication for F/C and setpoint alarms. The DPM operates off 85-240 VAC.
