Event Description
The new ISA-112 Part 1 standard provides a framework for modernizing supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, making them easier to design, build, operate and maintain. This webinar demonstrates how this vendor-neutral and technology-independent framework can save money and improve outcomes for end users, systems integrators, EPC contractors and others who develop or manage SCADA systems.
An ANSI-approved American National Standard, ISA-112 organizes end-user SCADA systems standards, manages work processes and delivers a set of standardized workflows that can reduce costs by standardizing scope and bids, improving lifecycle management (reducing rework and ongoing operating/maintenance costs) and enabling linkages to other ISA standards. Learn from examples in water/wastewater, pipeline, oil & gas and utility projects.
The presenter will be Graham Nasby, Systems Lead - Eastern Canada, PBX Engineering Ltd. Graham Nasby is an industry-recognized leader in the OT (operational technology), SCADA and automation sector for his efforts in cybersecurity best practices, standards development, alarm management, and operational efficiency. Graham is the founding co-chair of the ISA112 committee and has been involved with ISA standards committees since 2009.
