Research Triangle Park, NC (14 July 2005) - ISA has announced that its recently approved member-driven initiatives are on track for implementation in 2005. The launch of several projects, initially planned to coincide with ISA's EXPO 2005 in October, has been accelerated in many areas.A key element is ISA's new tagline, "Setting the Standard for Automation", which received overwhelming support based on member research. It is now being used in print applications across all departments. Another initiative is the redesign of all print and digital communications.
The new look will now launch in early August with a complete transformation planned in the fall.InTech magazine is also under redevelopment, with the launch expected in late 2005 or early 2006. The redevelopment, driven by member surveys, will ensure that InTech is the magazine of choice for the automation professional.ISA's website is undergoing change as well. Planned for re-launch in fall 2005, revisions to the website are already underway and are designed to significantly enhance user experience.
"I am thrilled to see so many positive changes, especially to the website," said John Shaw, Vice President-elect of the ISA Web Department. "It's probably ISA's most important member resource." From exhibits and conferences to marketing collateral and beyond, ISA is going through a transition designed to elevate its value to its members and the industries in which they serve. ISA President Don Zee summed it up by saying, "Positive things are happening in every corner of ISA.
This organization was born to serve its members, and now we're rebuilding it to serve them even better."
