Research Triangle Park, NC (22 February 2006) - ISA recently announced plans for its 6th annual NOx Emissions and Source Monitoring Technical Conference and Training event. This year's event will be held 7-8 June 2006 in Anaheim, California. Co-located with POWID/EPRI Conference, the event will feature presentations from industry experts on the latest NOx emissions and source monitoring technology. The event is sponsored by the ISA Safety Division, the ISA POWID Division, and ICAC Institute of Clean Air Companies. Topics will include experiences with the measurement and control of low level NOx emissions, new concepts for NOx reduction techniques, and innovative monitoring systems.
Presenters will participate in Q&A sessions, panel discussions, and be accessible for one-on-one discussions with attendees. The vendor showcase on 8 June will feature live product demonstrations from leading companies in the industry. Air quality compliance professionals, environmental engineers and technicians, Emissions Management Systems (EMS) professionals, auditors and power producers are encouraged to attend. Conference participants will network with a focused group of professionals in the NOx and CEM industry. "This conference is so valuable because it covers a wide range of topics, from controlling low NOx and ammonia to data archiving and reporting programs.
The sessions on regulatory requirements for CEM systems are always helpful for people, and we get a lot of positive feedback about the productivity of the sessions," said conference chair and moderator Jerry Winberry.
