Research Triangle Park, NC (4 May 2004) – “If fluid flow is not understood, how can it be measured or controlled?” That is the premise from which author Raymond Mulley begins "Flow of Industrial Fluids - Theory and Equations," now available from ISA Press. This book provides theoretical and practical context to all those who wish to understand fluid flow. It offers a clear explanation of the fundamentals and then links them to entire fluid systems. Mulley covers a full range of flow topics, from pumps to piping. He also provides a large number of computations and equations to help readers calculate various types of flow.

With more than 60 illustrations and 20 tables, “Flow of Industrial Fluids” provides a graphical representation of data and ideas, allowing the reader speedy access to precise data. Technical caveats throughout the text also encourage the reader to pay particular attention to specific details to avoid costly errors or misunderstandings. “Flow of Industrial Fluids - Theory and Equations” is available for purchase on the ISANetwork, www.isa.org/books , or by calling (919) 549-8411.

Review copy available upon request.
