Research Triangle Park, NC (30 January 2004) – ISA-The Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society announces the leaders who have officially taken office as the 2004 ISA Executive Board. As members of the ISA Executive Board, the officers participate in decisions that affect Society operations, policies and strategic plans. * Lowell McCaw assumed the role of the 59th ISA president. He succeeds Robert Ives.
McCaw was a professor at Monroe Community College in Rochester, N.Y., for 24 years and now consults on industrial training. * Donald W. Zee has been elected President-elect Secretary.
He will become ISA president in 2005. Zee is president of Don Zee Associates and previously served the Society as treasurer.* Robert P. Ives is past-president.
An ISA member since 1968, Ives is the principal of his own company, Ives Consulting. * H. Leo Staples continues as treasurer. Staples is supervisor, field technical services with OGE (Oklahoma Gas & Electric) Energy Corp. Staples joined ISA in 1989.
