Research Triangle Park, NC (16 February 2006) - ISA has released the ISA EXPO 2006 technical conference program. The program will address major themes in the automation industry and was developed by volunteer experts at a conference committee summit. "The summit consisted of fourteen automation professionals from industries, services, and supplier segments. The group, using their personal expertise and professional networks, identified the major topics of interest to today's automation professional.
I believe the end result represents the body of knowledge that an automation professional needs to be successful," said conference program chair Ian Verhappen of Syncrude Canada.The five themes chosen for the conference are: Safety and Security, Process Automation, Environmental Controls, Industrial Networking and Systems Integration. The conference, in concert with ISA's annual automation training program and exhibition, will be held 17-19 October 2006 in Houston, Texas.
